Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 3, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information RUAAH ("we", "us" or "our") collects when you visit our website, take our quiz, watch our videos or buy a subscription (the "Service"), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Please read it together with our Terms of Use.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details: your email address and name, entered at checkout or in forms on the site. We use your email to deliver access instructions and to talk to you about your subscription.
- Quiz answers: the answers you choose in our quiz (for example, which Bible stories interest you), used to tailor the content and offer you see.
- Messages: anything you send us when you write to support.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages visited, buttons clicked, time on page and the referring page.
- Video viewing data: whether a video was played, for how long and up to which point.
- Advertising data: if you arrived from an ad, identifiers in the link (such as a Facebook click ID and campaign parameters) that tell us which ad brought you to the site.
We do not ask for sensitive information such as your religious affiliation, health or government ID. Your interest in our content is used only to run and improve the Service.
2. Payments
All payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number, expiration date and security code are entered into Stripe's secure payment form and go directly to Stripe. Card numbers are never sent to or stored on our servers.
From Stripe we receive only what we need to manage your subscription: your name, email, the plan and amount, the payment status, renewal dates, and limited card details such as the card brand, last four digits and expiration month and year (for example, to tell you which card will be charged). Stripe's handling of your payment data is described in the Stripe Privacy Policy.
3. How we use your information
- to provide the Service: process your payment, send access instructions, and deliver the content you bought;
- to manage your subscription: renewals, receipts, failed payments, cancellations and refunds;
- to answer your questions and provide support;
- to send important notices about your account, such as price or policy changes;
- to understand how people use the site and improve our pages, videos and offers;
- to measure the results of our ads and show our ads to people likely to be interested;
- to prevent fraud and abuse, and to comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations.
If we send you marketing emails, every email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop service emails about an active subscription.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies, pixels and local storage on the site. They fall into three groups:
- Essential: needed for the site and checkout to work, such as keeping your place in the quiz and securing the payment form (Stripe).
- Analytics: help us understand visits and improve pages (PostHog) and measure video viewing (vturb).
- Advertising: measure which ads lead to visits and purchases and help show relevant ads (Meta Pixel).
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; essential cookies are needed for checkout to work. You can also limit ad tracking in your device settings, in your Facebook ad preferences, and through industry opt-out tools such as aboutads.info.
5. Third parties we work with
We use the following providers to run the Service. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:
- Stripe (payments): processes your card payment and subscription billing. Stripe Privacy Policy.
- Meta Platforms (Meta Pixel and Conversions API): the Pixel runs in your browser and the Conversions API sends events from our server, such as page views, checkout started and purchases, so we can measure and improve our Facebook and Instagram ads. Before contact details such as your email or name are sent to Meta, they are hashed (converted into an unreadable code). Meta Privacy Policy.
- PostHog (product analytics): records how visitors move through the site, such as pages viewed and clicks, to help us improve it. PostHog Privacy Policy.
- vturb (video player): hosts and plays our videos and records viewing statistics, such as plays and watch time. vturb.
- Email and hosting providers: services that host the website and send our emails, acting only on our instructions.
6. When we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only:
- with the service providers listed above, to run the Service on our behalf;
- with advertising partners such as Meta, for ad measurement and targeting. Under some U.S. state laws this may count as "sharing" or "targeted advertising", and you can opt out as described in Your rights and choices;
- when required by law, or to protect our rights, our users or the public;
- with a successor entity if our business is merged, acquired or sold, subject to this policy.
7. How long we keep data
We keep your information for as long as your subscription is active and afterwards for as long as needed to provide support, handle refunds or disputes, and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. Analytics data is kept in aggregated or limited form. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
8. Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), payments are handled by Stripe, and access to our systems is limited to people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live (for example California and other U.S. states, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom), you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it;
- correct information that is inaccurate;
- delete your information, subject to what we must keep by law;
- opt out of targeted advertising and of "sharing" or "sale" of personal information as defined by law;
- object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where we rely on it;
- unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time, using the link in the email.
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@reviewswas.com from the address used at checkout. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will reply within the time required by law (generally within 30 to 45 days). We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Children
Our stories can be enjoyed by the whole family, but purchases and accounts are for adults. The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International transfers
Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries whose data protection laws may differ from those where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, for these transfers.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and for significant changes we will notify active subscribers by email.
